Reading
We’ve been using the online curriculum for homeschooling for almost a year. My kids enjoy it and they are learning, but still have not progressed to independent or even assisted reading (blending and sound identification are still a struggle). I’ve also been concerned about the lack of writing practice they’re getting even with the printable worksheets from the website. That’s why I chose to add the workbook and WOW! In just 2 lessons, I’ve seen a noticeable difference. We’re discussing sentence formation, letter identification and formation has improved, and recognition of words from their lessons is happening outside of “school”. I am so excited to see how this changes their retention of the material and am confident that with this addition, they will be reading in no time!
